Families are invited to enjoy an afternoon of free food, activities, community resources, and back-to-school support at the Growing In Life & In The Word Family Affair Back 2 School Give-a-way Event on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Village at Lakeview Apartment Community.
The event is designed to bring the community together while helping children prepare for the upcoming school year. Attendees can enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities, including:
A cookout featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, drinks, cookies, and chips will be available, making it a fun afternoon for the entire family. Organizers welcome children, youth, adults, and seniors to attend.
