Families looking for a fun and positive summer activity for their children have a great local opportunity coming up. The Belcamp Outlaws Recreational Youth Football and Cheer Program is hosting a free Community Day Camp for youth ages 4–13 on June 13 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The camp is designed to engage, mentor, and introduce children to football and cheer in a structured and encouraging environment. Organizers hope to create a day filled with fitness, teamwork, confidence-building, and community connection all at no cost to families.
Participants can look forward to:
This year’s event also includes exciting support from local sponsors.
Thanks to Chick-fil-A Aberdeen, athletes will receive meals to stay energized throughout the day.
And Kona Ice will be on-site serving their popular frozen treats. Families may want to bring a little spending money if they’d like to purchase Kona Ice during the event.
Free youth programs help families access healthy activities, positive mentorship, and safe spaces for children to build confidence and friendships. Community events like this also help strengthen connections between local organizations and the families they serve.
Spots are limited, so families are encouraged to reserve a place in advance.
